Senior Communications Manager

We are looking for a savvy Senior Communications Manager to join our team. They will support the Global Communications Director to strengthen and protect the reputation of the Kronos Foundation. They will help spread a cohesive narrative to our target audiences by building productive relationships with the media, enterprises and other relevant stakeholders.

Ideally, you are an organized and grounded communications professional, with a big picture perspective and a strategic mindset, who is able to handle the unanticipated. You bring a deep understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, its technologies, communities, and evolving dynamics, paired with a genuine passion for communicating innovation.

We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and an eye for a great story. If you are also confident in your critical thinking and problem solving skills, we’d like to meet you.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Support the execution of the external communication strategy for the Kronos Foundation to align with the organization's overarching strategy.
Create and implement comprehensive communication campaigns to effectively reach across blockchain ecosystems to promote the adoption of Kronos's blockchain.
Act as a key contact and advisor for external PR agencies and together manage an efficient press and media office.
Work closely with the Marketing and other internal teams to identify profile opportunities around marketing activity and ensure key messaging consistency.
Work closely with the Event team to leverage key global events.
Prepare written materials as required, including copywriting for articles, internal communications, media statements, social and digital content (blogs), and enterprise information.
Brief spokespeople ahead of media and other speaking engagements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their communication needs and effectively channel their requests to the Communications team.
Ensure adherence to media and external communications policies including appropriate training for spokespeople.
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend ways to increase functional effectiveness and improve operational efficiencies.

Your story:

A passion for technology and a strong understanding of emerging trends in the blockchain, financial services and Web3 space.
A minimum of five years of experience in a corporate communications role or PR agency with a specialism in the technology sector, preferably in a growth and scale-up environment.
Masterful command of the English language, with the ability to adapt communication style for a variety of audiences and purposes.
Capable of understanding highly technical concepts with the ability to break these down into concise, easy to understand language and to communicate them to diverse audiences.
Experience in planning and executing communication campaigns, including developing messaging, creating content, and managing media relations.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful B2B communication strategies.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the technology industry, including media, community members, influencers, and industry partners.
Able to work closely with multiple internal and external partners.
Able to work within a fast paced , start-up environment, to prioritize and reconcile competing demands and resolve complex issues.
Excellent time management and organization skills with an ability to juggle short term deadlines and deliverables without compromising on accuracy or quality.
Team player, able to work in a collaborative remote culture, with a willingness to get things done and create impact.
